Case study·Hospital management system

MedOS — EMR-lite + WhatsApp scheduling for Indian clinics.

A focused hospital management system for Indian clinics and small hospitals — built around how patients actually book (WhatsApp), pay (UPI), and get reminded (in Hindi/Marathi).

The problem

What we set out to solve.

Most clinic management software in India is either: (a) US-imported EHR designed for hospital chains, way over-spec'd, or (b) basic local POS with appointment book bolted on. Nothing speaks WhatsApp natively. Nothing handles per-doctor calendars with Practo sync.

The build

What we actually shipped.

01 of 04

Patient flow

Lightweight patient master with visit history, allergies, prescriptions. Designed for outpatient clinic flow — not 200-bed hospitals.

02 of 04

WhatsApp scheduling

Patient messages 'book Tuesday'. Bot offers slots. Books. Reminders auto-trigger 24h and 2h before. Cancellations route back to dormant-patient reactivation.

03 of 04

EMR-lite

Doctor types prescription, voice-dictates notes (in Hindi/English), patient records auto-attached to visit. PDF prescription sent on WhatsApp.

Practo two-way sync

Practo bookings flow into MedOS. MedOS-direct bookings flow back to Practo so your Practo listing stays current.

The stack

Built on the same Indian-stack-native pieces we ship every day.

The outcome

How it's playing out.

Currently in development with two pilot clinics in Pune. Productized launch planned mid-2026. The AI Receptionist SKU is the front-end services play; MedOS is the longer-term vertical SaaS for the same buyer.
